What a cookie is

A small file a website stores on your device so it can recognise it on later visits. Some are essential for the page to work; others are used to measure how many people come.

Which ones we use

Analytics cookies, from Google Analytics 4. They tell us how many people visit, which pages they look at and where they arrive from. They are called _ga and _ga_G-C4TWG3HMYJ, are managed by Google as a third party and expire after two years.

Google Analytics also shares browsing data with Google's advertising network, which may use it to show you related ads. We do not sell your data or pass it to anyone else.

How to turn them off

Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies from any site. Look for the privacy section in Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge.

Google also offers an add-on that switches off its analytics on every site you visit: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

Blocking them does not affect this site: it will look and work exactly the same.
